Puppy Obedience
Classes exclusively for puppies are not offered every lesson cycle, but when you connect with Dianne Henn, she will help to determine if we have current beginner class suitable for your pup or a class exclusively for puppies.
What Will You and Your Pup Learn?
Our 30 minute puppy/beginner class offers a positive first obedience experience for you and your puppy!
• Developing focus and curbing impulses
• Being polite around other dogs and people
•Developing a "marker" word and when/ways to reward and sustain good responses
• Positive play
• Sit, stay, down, beginning to walk on leash
Remember that all dogs (and puppies) learn in different ways and at different rates. Compare your weekly progress to where YOU were last week- not what the puppy beside you is doing.
