Begin your registration by emailing Leslie Gardiner. Leslie will help to determine the best for for you and your dog. Handlers must provide proof of UTD vaccinations for their dog.
What Will You Learn?
This class is specifically for people who are either already trialing with their dogs or who intend to do so. Registration requires permission of the instructor. Trials practice takes obedience to the competitive level. Instruction in this class focuses on perfecting your team's performance to be successful in the ring. We work on your dog's skills as well as your handling skills. We follow CKC Obedience rules and practice not only individual/group exercises but we also run mock trials in class. This class is very popular and often has a wait list.
What to Bring
Because dogs are trailing at different levels, it is important to bring the training/trialing equipment that is specific to your competition level. As always, plenty of high value treats, a target plate, a collar that best suits the needs of your dog, a leash that is appropriate for your dog's CKC Obedience level.
